Gymnastic abilities and upper body strength will be tested again and again on the White Plains play set. Children can start on the central platform and choose from four different overhead bar experiences. They can swing their way to the end and drop or double the challenge and turn their body around and shimmy back to the platform. The Overhead Straight Rung Horizontal Ladder and Overhead Single Parallel Bar Ladder are two of the easiest ones to master but will still challenge young monkeys as they must coordinate hand movements while keeping their body balanced to succeed. The Overhead Straight Trapezoid Loop Ladder steps up the difficulty as the bars are angled and to grip them children must have the confidence to let go and reach for the next bar. There’s a Pull Up Bar attached at the end to practice on too. The real challenge comes from the Overhead 3 Wheel Swing Ladder where too much body movement makes the child swing around dizzily until they can grab the circular bar in front.
